Two men from Melbourne were arrested after they were involved in a fight at Hometown Market in Melbourne. According to the Izard County Sheriff’s office, 19 year old Sam Cox and 44 year old Dwayne Serghides were both arrested and charged with third degree battery. They will be in court on July 23rd.
The Izard County Sheriff’s Office reports three other arrests last week. Last Wednesday they arrested 50 year old William Ashworth of Pineville on a warrant out of Missouri for probation absconding. Then Thursday they arrested 18 year old Denym Crum of Batesville for driving left of center, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Saturday Deputies arrested 37 year old Kenneth Johnson of Melbourne for disorderly conduct.
