The Major League Draft Continued on Thursday with the Cardinals and Royals both loading up on prospective talent.
St Louis took SS Masyn Winn from Kaywood HS with the 54th pick, then followed that with pitcher Markavin Hence from Watson Chapel HS with the 63rd pick. Then at pick number 70 the Cardinals took 1B Alec Burleson from East Carolina. In the Third Round the Cardinals added pitcher Levi Prater from Oklahoma with the 93rd pick. In Round Four the Cardinals got Pitcher Ian Badell from Missouri with the 122nd pick and in the Fift Round picked OF LJ Jones IV from Long Beach State with the 152nd pick
Kansas City selected pitcher Ben Hernandez from De La Salle HS with the 41st pick, then in the third round took OF Tyler Gentry of Alabama with the 76th pick, and in the Fifth Round selected pitcher Will Klein from Eastern Illinois with the 135th pick.
Arkansas SS Casey Martin was selected in the Third Round by Philadelphia with pick number 87.
