Howell County Health Department has announced that the 36th COVID-19 case in the County has been identified. The contact tracing investigation indicates that the infection was contracted while on out of area travel. The individual resides in the West Plains area. No exposure to the community has been identified.
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported there have been 18,868 COVID 19 cases in Missouri with 975 deaths, locally there have been 6 cases in Carter County, 3 in Douglas County, 36 in Howell County, 6 in Oregon County, 1 in Ozark County, 16 in Ripley County, 6 in Shannon County, 5 in Texas County, and 14 in Wright County.
The Arkansas Department of Health reported there have been 17,375 COVID 19 cases in Arkansas with 240 deaths, locally there have been 15 in Baxter County, 10 in Fulton County, 48 in Independence County, 20 in Izard County, 98 in Lawrence County, 2 in Marion County, 39 in Randolph County, 52 in Sharp County and 13 in Stone County.
