Two Doniphan residents were injured in an accident Wednesday afternoon in Butler County. The Highway Patrol reports that 55 year old George Howard suffered moderate injuries and 54 year old Linda Howard suffered minor injuries when Linda Howard traveled into the path of a vehicle driven by 28 year old David Alt of Corning. Both George and Linda Howard were taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital. The accident happened on highway 142 about a mile west of Rt HH.
