A woman who video taped an independence County officer who pulled a gun on her, now faces several drug charges. 37 year old Kandy Renee Dowell has been charged with delivery of a schedule 1 or 2 controlled substance greater than two grams but less than 28 grams, delivery of a schedule 3 controlled substance less than 28 grams, delivery of a schedule 4 or 5 controlled substance less than 200 grams, unauthorized use of property, unlawful use of a communications device and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
The deputy she recorded was suspended without pay and has been ordered to undergo additional training by the sheriff.
