A man from L:icking suffered serious injuries when he wrecked the semi he was driving Wednesday. The Highway Patrol reports that 64 year old Billy Carter was injured when he tried to avoid another vehicle and drove off the road and hit a fence. Carter was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on highway 32 about a mile west of Lynchburg.
