Last week police in Batesville responded to the second shooting in less than month at Hawg’s Exxon on St Louis Street. A juvenile allegedly got into as fight with another man and shots were fired. When officers arrived there was puddles of blood, shell casings and suspected marijuana on the pavement. The two suspects involved in the fight allegedly got into separate vehicles and left the scene before police arrived. They were both later found, one suspect had multiple gunshot wound to his arm. The juvenile who’s name has not been released was called “Snuuk”in the report.. The man shot in the arm was 18 year old Taren Tharp of Cave City. Snuuk is charged with aggravated robbery, first degree battery and second degree criminal mischief.
