
According to a post on the Shannon County Sheriff’s Department Face Book page two suspects have been arrested in connection with a homicide Saturday
On Saturday evening, August 8th, 2020, a phone call was placed to the Shannon County Sheriff’s Office, from a male caller, stating that a man was laying in the road (E highway) and that the caller’s wife was in the process of doing CPR. First Responders, EMS, Shannon County Authorities and other necessary Agencies were contacted, and requested to be dispatched.
The Shannon County Deputy arriving on scene found Allan Brewer of Eminence, Missouri, with multiple gunshot wounds. EMS took over attempted resuscitation upon arrival. The witnesses gave a description of the vehicle that had left the scene quickly, upon their arrival. This vehicle description and time-frame matched descriptors given by witnesses along the route of travel. Witnesses came to the Sheriff’s Office to file written statements as to their observance of activity.
Missouri State Highway Patrol/D.D.C.C. Investigators were called in to Assist, due to the expanse and nature of the event. The Coroner, along with EMS technicians announced time of death at 9:12pm.
After pursuing the evidence obtained, two suspects were taken into Custody on Sunday evening, August 9th, 2020, anticipating the charges of 2nd Degree Murder being filed today, with the Shannon County Prosecuting Attorney, Jodie Brumble.
