Thursday, Russ Gant was the guest speaker at the West Plains Chamber Of Commerce monthly meeting and talked about the national Junior College volleyball tournament which was set to be held in November in West Plains. He talked about the economic impact the tournament has on the community.
He talked about the tournament and why West Plains hasn’t had the tournament since 2012
NJCAA awarded the tournament to West Plains for November 2020 and again in 2022. Because of the COVID 19 pandemic the NJCAA has postponed the 2020 tournament until April 15-17 of 2021 and West Plains will be the host city.
