Police say the security footage from inside the victim’s home showed O’Donnell stashing a kitchen knife in a red purse with what appeared to be blood on her hands.

In the video, O’Donnell was also carrying a white purse with what seemed to be “a significant amount of blood on the exterior of the purse,” investigators said. Later, a white purse similar to the one in the video was found in a vehicle that O’Donnell was in as a passenger when she was arrested in June on her way to a memorial service for Collins.

Tuesday a Pulaski County Judge ordered a stop to the release of investigation files into the murder of former Senator Linda Collins. The judge agreed to a request from Collin’s family after concerns that private information would be released.
