Monday morning the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department and Ava Police served a search warrant at a residence on Mansfield Street. As a result, 33-year-old Amanda Powell was arrested for three counts of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $5,000 cash only.
