A woman from Gatewood was injured in an accident Wednesday in Butler County. The Highway Patrol reports that 62-year-old Carol Swanguarim suffered moderate injuries when, she crossed the centerline and hit a vehicle driven by 77-year-old Earl Parrish of Gatewood. Swanguarim was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on highway A about a half mile south of county road A-B.
