A man from Everton was killed in a one-vehicle accident Thursday in Marion County. According to the Arkansas State Police Report 75-year old Richard Sgarella failed to negotiate a curve, drove off the road and hit a tree. He was taken to Cox South Medical Center in Springfield where he passed away. The accident happened on state highway 235 near county road 4018.
