A woman from Ash Flat was killed and a man injured in a one vehicle accident Saturday morning east of Salem. The Arkansas State Police Report that 82-year-old Shirley Bonewits was killed and 81-year-old James Boneswits was injured when the car they were in traveled off the roadway and hit a fence. James Boneswits was taken to UAMs in Little Rock. The accident happened around 10:30 on highway 62 about three miles east of Salem.
