The Lawrence County Arkansas Sheriff’s department is warning citizens of a scam. The Sheriff’s office was made aware that someone was calling people and identifying themselves as a representative of the Sheriff’s Office. The person is using an app that allows them to clone the Sheriff’s Office number. They are asking for personal information. Again, this is a scam do not give them personal information.
