A man wanted in connection with a murder in Greene County was the subject of a high-speed chase in Wright County. 25-year-old Riley Collier was wanted in connection with the death of 39-year-old Stanley Simon last Tuesday. Wright county deputies were called to Casey’s in Hartville for a reported theft. Collier and a teenage girl then fled toward Mansfield with deputies chasing. Collier allegedly drove off an embankment then back onto highway 60. He was later spotted near Macomb by a state trooper. The vehicle Collier was in reached speeds up to 100 mph before having its tires spiked in Webster county by a state trooper. Collier then pulled a lady out of her vehicle and took off again but was later stopped and arrested. Wright County charges are pending along with charges in Webster and Greene Counties.
