The affidavit in the Savannah Wren murder case was made public Monday and reveals new details regarding the shooting, including the victim’s name.
Mountain Home police say Wren shot Chaseton Lewter at approximately 2:45 a.m. at an apartment complex in the 600 block of Cooper Estates Drive. According to the affidavit, Lewter was shot in the forehead.
The affidavit also revealed there were two witnesses present at the time of the shooting. Whether both or either witness saw the actual shooting was not made clear in the affidavit, just that both witnesses said Wren had shot Lewter.
The two witnesses reportedly told investigators Wren fled the apartment on foot following the shooting. The affidavit states Wren was “tracked” to Marion County several hours later and was arrested in connection with the shooting.
