Baxter County authorities are investigating a report of a body located in a burned-out car on Old Arkana Road. The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office reports the county’s 911 Center received a call shortly before 10 Wednesday morning of a vehicle off in the woods for the past few days in the 4000 block of Old Arkana Road. Deputies responded to the scene, and a burned body was recovered from the vehicle. Investigators joined the case and processed the scene, with the body released into the possession of the county coroner . No further information is available at this time.
