Everyone is invited to a “FRIEND-ly Welcome” reception for new Missouri State University-West Plains Chancellor Shirley Lawler from 2 to 4 p.m. June 19 at the Garnett Library, 304 W. Trish Knight St., in West Plains. The event is being hosted by the Friends of the Garnett Library. Homemade goodies by Friends members and punch will be served.
