A woman from Licking was seriously injured in a two vehicle accident Thursday afternoon in Texas county. The Missouri State Highway Patrol report says 64 year old Geneva Burgdorf was travelling on highway 5, about 5 miles east of Licking when her vehicle crossed the centerline, hit another vehicle, then ran off the road and hit a tree. Burgdorf was air lifted to Cox South in Springfield.
The Driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
A Doniphan man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident last night, 5 miles west of Doniphan on highway 160. 31 year old Bobby Harber ran off the road, hit a culvert and his vehicle overturned about 9:00pm. Harber was air lifted to a Memphis hospital.
