The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department is reporting the arrest of a man who allegedly drove a vehicle into a house in an attempted burglary. 45-year-old Dustin Huff is accused of driving a homeowner’s vehicle into a house near Ava. The owner of the home was Huff’s parents. Huff has a lengthy criminal background and a history of violence. Huff is being held for probation violation until formal charges are filed.
