A woman from Thayer, Mo. is moving on to the state Ms. Missouri Nursing Home Pageant. Ms. Peggy Flood was crowned the regional winner at the Ramada Convention Center in Springfield. She beat out 21 contestants from across the area. Nursing homes nominated the candidates. Ms. Peggy lives at Shady Oaks Healthcare. Ms. Peggy will compete in the state pageant in Branson in August.
