A Birch Tree man has been arrested on drug charges. 42 year old Michael Gimpel is charged with one count of distribution of a controlled substance with a protected location, two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, and one count of delivery of 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid. Gimpel allegedly had several types of drugs at his house and he lives within 1,000 feet of the Birch Tree City Park. His bond was set at $100,000.
