Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident last night in Ozark County. The Highway Patrol reports that 21-year-old Paige Hedquist of Mountain Grove suffered moderate injuries and 33-year-old Jason Philpott of Willow Springs suffered minor injuries when Hedquist attempted to pass the vehicle that Philpott was driving and Philpott turned into the path of Hedquist. Hedquist was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield and Philpott was taken to Mercy Hospital by private vehicle. The accident happened on highway 5 about 11 miles north of Gainesville.
