The Sharp County Sheriff’s office reports the arrest of a Cave City man after The Sheriff’s Office along with Cave City Police conducted a probation/parole search at Randy Hawkins residence on Matlock Road Friday. Officers found approximately one ounce of suspected meth, a firearm and drug paraphernalia. Hawkins was taken to Sharp County jail awaiting the filing of formal charges of simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of meth or cocaine with the purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of firearms by certain persons, and an enhancement of proximity to certain facilities.
