A man from Mountain Grove suffered serious injuries in an accident Monday afternoon south of Mountain Grove. The Highway Patrol reports that 32-year-old Adam Smith was injured when the vehicle he was driving began sliding on Highway AM, then overturned. Smith was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened about a mile south of Mountain Grove, Monday afternoon around 2:30
