
Two people have been arrested in Pocahontas for using counterfeit money. Amanda Guthrie and Dustin Stephenson were both arrested after a search warrant was served at a residence. Almost $950 in counterfeit money was seized in the search, along with a computer, scanner, printer, and other items. Both were arrested for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance meth, forgery, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $50,000 for Stephenson and at $25,000 for Guthrie. They will be arraigned on April 13th.
