A woman was stabbed multiple times this morning and a man from Cave City was arrested and taken to Sharp County Jail. According to Sheriff Mark Counts, 911 received a call just after 1 this morning, reporting the stabbing at a residence on Red Barn road north of Cave City. The Sheriff says that a 33 year old woman was taken to an area hospital with multiple stab wounds. Her name and condition were not released. 46 year old Bobby Collins was arrested and is awaiting formal charges. Collins allegedly told officers he stabbed the woman and there had been an ongoing domestic situation between them.
