A West Plains man was injured in an accident north of Summersville Friday afternoon. The Highway Patrol reports that 65-year-old James Borkus suffered serious injuries when he drove off the road and hit an embankment. Borkus was taken to Phelps Health Medical Group in Rolla. The accident happened on highway 17 about 7 miles north of Summersville.
