A man from Oxford has been arrested for sexual indecency with a minor. According to the Izard County Sheriff’s Office, they took a report from 3 juvenile boys who said that 40-year-old Brandon Gilbert had contacted them by social media and cell phone texts and offered alcoholic beverages and solicited sexual acts. An investigator used the juveniles cell phone and acting as a 14-year-old set up a meeting place where Gilbert was arrested. Gilbert is charged with felony sexual indecency with a minor. His bond was set at $10,000. The investigation continues and additional charges may be filed.
