Three people were injured, one of them seriously in a two-vehicle accident west of West Plains Friday. The Highway Patrol reports that 81-year-old Joyce Young of Potterville suffered serious injuries and 58-year-old Kenneth Collins and a 17-year-old male both from West Plains suffered minor injuries when Collins stopped to turn and the 17-year-old boy hit the rear of Collins vehicle. Young was a passenger in the 17-year old’s vehicle. All three were taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened on Missouri 14 about 2 miles west of West Plains.
