The Mammoth Spring Fire Department was called to a structure fire just before 7 Thursday morning. At this time no details are being released about the fire, but authorities did confirm that there was a fatality and one person was taken to a Springfield Hospital with smoke inhalation. Authorities said no names would be released pending notification of next of kin.
