A man from Raymondville suffered serious injuries in an accident late last night north of Mountain View. The highway Patrol reports that 52 year old Ronald Atkisson was injured when he drove off the road, hit two signs and overturned the car he was driving. atkisson was flown by Air-Evac to Cox South in Springfield. He was also cited for DWI-aggravated offender, possession of 10 grams or less of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, careless and imprudent driving involving an accident, driving while revoked, no insurance and no seat belt.
