A Gassville Arkansas man was arrested Sunday on drug and weapons charges. According to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office report51 year old Kenneth Ray Adams was arrested after a traffic stop on Baxter County Road 903. During the stop Adams gave consent to search and told officers he had a loaded firearm in the back seat. Approximately 28.65 grams of meth was found on Adams along with some pill bottles containing an additional 2.4 grams of meth and hydrocodone, $525 cash was also found on Adams. Adams is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with purpose of delivery, felony possession of a controlled substance, and felony weapons possession during a controlled substance offense. Adams posted $15,000 bond and was released from custody.
