An employee with the city of Hoxie was killed in a mowing accident on Thursday. According to reports 66-year-old Kenneth Wayne Tyler was killed in the accident. A couple traveling on Hartigan Street saw the mower with Tyler underneath it and called 911. Authorities found the mower partially sitting on its side and the Bar behind the driver’s seat was resting on Tyler’s neck. Tyler was already deceased when the mower was lifted off of him. Authorities say he was mowing a steep embankment and attempted to make a turn, when the mower rolled over trapping him underneath.
