A Teenager from Bucyrus was injured in an ATV accident yesterday north of Houston. The highway Patrol says that 18 year old Levi Coats suffered serious injuries and was flown to Cox South medical Center in Springfield when he swerved to avoid another vehicle, ran off the road and hit a tree. The accident happened on Sand Shoals road about 5 miles north of Houston around 5:30 Wednesday afternoon. Coats was also charged with Driving while intoxicated, unlawfully operating an ATV while under the influence of alcohol, operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner resulting in an accident, and unlawfully operating an ATV without properly mounted triangular emblem.
