A Salem Arkansas man was injured in a motorcycle accident south of West Plains Friday morning. 40 year old Brendan Clements suffered serious injuries and was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The Highway Patrol reports that Clements hit a deer, ran off the road and overturned the motorcycle. The accident happened on Missouri 17 about 8 miles south of West Plains.
