The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested a man from Poplar Bluff Thursday night in Carter County. 31-year-old Preston Russell was arrested on a felony warrant for probation and parole for possession of marijuana, a felony Jefferson County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of controlled substance, a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear for larceny, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, no valid plates and speeding. HE was taken to Butler County jail and is being held without bond.
