A Birch Tree woman is being held in Thayer jail after she was arrested Wednesday by the Oregon County Sheriff’s Department. 24-year-old Amber Dawn Prewett was arrested on a Carter County warrant for felony tampering with a motor vehicle and 4 counts of felony stealing a firearm/explosive weapon. She is being held without bond.
