
A man from Marion County was arrested after a police pursuit of a motorcycle Sunday evening. The Baxter County Sheriff’s Department arrested 27-year-old Joseph Michael Verdusco of Yellville after a short pursuit on Highway 126. When stopped officers found 4.12 grams of meth, several hundred dollars in cash, and drug paraphernalia. Verdusco is charged with felony possession of meth with the purpose of delivery, two counts of felony possession of drug paraphernalia, felony fleeing by vehicle, and felony parole violation. He also faces several misdemeanor charges including reckless driving, speeding, no insurance, no motorcycle license, and expired vehicle license. He is also charged as a habitual offender and was wanted on warrants from Marion and White Counties. Verdusco’s bond was set at $15,000 on the new charges and he is being held without bond for parole violation and failure to appear.
