Douglas County authorities arrest two people

On May 28, 2021, at approximately 0045 hours, Douglas County Sheriff Chris Degase and Ava PD Officer Kodie Johnson responded to a follow-up investigation for Webster County. Sheriff Degase and Officer Johnson made contact with Tamra Reeves, age 27, of Ava, MO, and Caleb Cornelison, age 25, of Rogersville, MO. Both individuals were transported and booked into the Douglas County jail on a 24 hours investigative hold for burglary and stealing for Webster County. Subsequently, a warrant was issued for Tamra Reeves where she was booked on a Webster County Felony Warrant for two counts of Burglary- 2nd Degree with a bond of $20,000.00 Cash or Surety.

All subjects should be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
