Two of the three inmates that escaped the Sharp County jail are now in custody. Robert Lynn Pollard and John Frey were captured after authorities detected a cell phone ping in the Horseshoe Bend area. The two were spotted in a vehicle and a chase ensued. the chase didn’t last long before the two left the vehicle on foot. Dogs from the Calico Rock prison were brought in to assist in the search. The two men were located and arrested. A third escapee, Randall Paul Sledge of Conway is still on the run and anyone with any information as to Sledge’s whereabouts should contact the Sheriff’s Office at 870-994-7356.
