Two people from Licking were injured in an accident north of Houston in Texas County. 34-year-old Joshua Miller suffered serious injuries and 33-year-old Tawnisha Dasalla suffered moderate injuries when Miller crossed the centerline and traveled off the road, then hit the ground and a utility pole. Miller was flown to Mercy hospital in Springfield and Dasalla was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident happened on Highway 17 about 4 miles north of Houston.
