Mountain Home Man Faces Kidnapping and Theft Charges

A Mountain Home man has been arrested after allegedly taking a vehicle that was parked outside a convenience store that had been left running. The vehicle was occupied by the driver’s handicapped brother. 55 year old Tony Farnam is charged with felony kidnapping and theft of property. He was arrested after authorities found the vehicle at Baxter Regional Hospital 15 minutes later with the handicapped boy inside. Farnm admitted having taken the vehicle without permission and said he knew the boy was sitting in the vehicle. He also allegedly admitted to being on meth at the time. he is being held on $50,000 bond.
