The Third inmate that escapes the Sharp County jail is now back behind bars. Randall Paul Sledge of Conway was arrested by Kansas State Troopers on Friday. Sledge, Robert Lynn Pollard of Evening Shade and Christopher John Frey of Horseshoe Bend all escaped from the Sharp County Jail sometime overnight on Tuesday. Pollard and Frey were captured Wednesday night. The tree allegedly escaped by unscrewing a deadbolt from the jail door and then pulled a fence up outside the door. The Two jailer who were on duty have been placed on administrative leave after failing to do a head count Tuesday night at midnight. An investigation is ongoing.
