A sex offender in Independence County has been arrested on child porn charges. 40-year-old Jeremie Lee Candler of Batesville was charged with 26 counts of distributing, possessing, viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child. Candler is a level 2 sex offender. He was taken to the Independence County jail and bail was set at $100,000.
