2 Alton residents were injured when 1 Polaris ATV hit another Polaris ATV.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 48-year old Christopher Brown and 48-year-old Deidre Axelsen were driving 2 Polaris ATVs when they crashed.
The second Polaris ATV struck the rear of the first ATV after it was stopped at the intersection of county road 113 and AA highway.
Axelson was reported to have serious injuries at the scene of the crash and was not wearing a safety device.
She was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield by Air Evac.
