
A three-car accident in Willow Springs sent 2 juveniles to the hospital, among others.
According to crash reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Missouri Highway 137 and East Main Street.
A 1990 Chevrolet K1500 driven by 33-year-old Luke Riley of Willow Springs failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a 2006 Toyota Highlander driven by 48-year-old Tracy Trude of Willow Springs, causing the Highlander to strike a stop sign and multiple mailboxes before crashing into the third vehicle in the accident.
The third car was unoccupied and no injuries were reported from that vehicle.
The Highlander has 2 juveniles on board and their names were not released.
Luke Riley is being charged with Felony Second Degree Assault x3 and driving while intoxicated. He was released for treatment of his injuries.
Both Trude and Riley were taken to Ozarks Healthcare by ambulance and were reporting serious injuries on the scene.
