The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 2 area accidents that caused serious injuries.
According to crash reports from MSHP, Kylee Atkison was traveling eastbound on Highway 14 10 miles west of Ava when her 1993 Chevrolet pickup she was driving traveled off the right side of the roadway, returned to the road, overturned, and ejected the Driver.
Atkison was reported to have serious injuries on scene, she was taken by ambulance to Cox South in Springfield.
An accident in Howell County left one driver with serious injuries on Wednesday.
According to MSHP, a 2007 Ford F450 driven by Aaron Costar was traveling eastbound on Missouri Highway 14 10 miles west of West Plains when a 1994 Buick Park Avenue driven by James Goodman of West Plains crossed the center of the roadway and struck the Ford in the left side.
70-year-old James Goodman was reported to have serious injuries on the scene of the crash.
He was taken by Air Evac to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment of his injuries.
