
The West Plains Police Department is reporting a crash from yesterday.
According to a press release from the police chief, officers, and the West Plains Fire Department responded to a one-vehicle crash on St. Louis street.
First responders found a vehicle facing northbound on its top with its driver trapped inside.
The vehicle traveled off the roadway struck a light pole, the traveled into the Civic center parking lot.
The Pontiac G6 then struck an electric transformer box, returned to the roadway, missing a second light post, and overturned. The crash is still under investigation.
The driver was taken to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains and was reporting serious injuries on the scene.
No names have been released.
